P L O T [/font] S T O R Ytime[/b][/center][/color] [ the way the plot works ] -
the site-wide plot is divided into 'chapters.' chapters are written in rp-format similar to how a book might be. these chapters are symbolic of every step that the site-wide plot makes. at the bottom of every chapter is several paragraphs that summarize what it said and elaborate on a few details. if you don't want to read the actual chapter just skip to the bottom.

the coming storm
200 years ago, Uzumaki Naruto stood against Akatsuki's mastermind Uchiha Madara. The battle was the one recorded in history as the world changing battle. Uzumaki Naruto had triumphed over the elder Uchiha, stopping war and pain for now. He stood proud on the battlefield as the Kages came around to hear him give the speech that brought all the nations together. It was through Naruto that the world was safe. However, some knew that peace would not last, that it would fade and give way to bloodshed again.
For now, the Rookie 11 and many others chose to begin settling down with someone they loved dearly. For years, children were born, then grandkids, and so long down the line until the present day, where the peace has been strained. Arranged marriages are back, along with tensions between villages over things. But the Kages of the Great 5 Villages have vowed to keep the peace, until their last breath. So, despite the strains, the villages worked out the problems. However, things were in work to break the peace. Enemies hid in the shadows, planning to attack the peace that lasted so long.
On the eve of the birth of the Judaime Hokage's child, Konoha was attacked, and a battle raged in the streets as shinobi battled against the foes. But the enemies were winning, until the Hokage arrived. The enemies had to flee, but they had done their job, caused a ruckus amongst Konoha, sending one village into high guard. The same thing happened to all great five villages, which notified the Kages that something were up. However, they knew they could weather this storm. Months later, new jinchuuriki were made, as bijuu were sealed into new nine children. Now, they are trained and protected by the best in the five nations.
However, a new village has risen up, with a leader of pure evil, and threatens that very peace. The leader's goals are unknown, the shinobi numbers unknown, but their power is immense, some have said. The Kages know that this is not their only enemy, that something is watching their every move, something evil to the very core of its being. The peace they knew is now on a thin strand. Only time will tell on how long it will last.

This plot is in the way future, almost 200 years since Uzumaki Naruto defeated Akatsuki and brought a era of peace and tranquility. Now, years later, a new village has risen, with a leader as evil as the legendary Orochimaru. The goals are unknown, but the villages know this is a threat. But there is another threat out there, the Kages can feel it, someone or something with evil to their very core filling them. Every move a shinobi makes, could be one that ends them dead.
