A loud thud could be heard as somebody kicked a bunch of wood. A young female was out in a clearing. Her grandfather had wanted Kotone to build a boat by hand; not using any Justus’s either. So far the boat, or what didn’t even look like a boat, wasn’t coming along so well. She said “Why in the world did he want me to build a boat by hand, I don’t even understand the meaning of it.”
She threw the little carving tool she had been using it off to the other side of the clearing as she kicked the boat again, only to cry out in pain as she ended up stubbing her toe. She glared at the boat, saying “I hate you, you stupid boat!!” With that she sat down and she huffed as she stared at the ground. She sat there for a couple of seconds and then her eyes looked up at the sky. She watched the leaves as they danced in the wind that had started to blow. She closed her eyes and just listened as animals ran back and forth, chattering as they did.
She sat there for several more minutes and she finally decided to get up. She walked over to the other side of the clearing and as she reached the other side, she bent down and picked up the carving tool she had been using. She stared at it, taking a deep breath as she stood back up. She said “I guess I better get back to work and try to make this thing look halfway decent.”
As she made her way back to the boat, her stomach growled and she chuckled. She said “Alright, not getting back to the boat. I’m going to get something to eat then.” She set the tool down on the boat and got out a little bag from the other side and she sat down. She pulled out some food and something to drink and she started to eat. About half an hour later, she was finished eating. She smiled as she stood up, stretching and she went and started to get back to work on the boat.
